Yasmin's Journey in TESL

During my practicum, I have incorporated technology in each and every class without fail. YouTube was my main go to as I could always find videos that were related to the topics that I was teaching. I also used the i-Charade application in my classes. It was a success for me as the students truly enjoyed it. It is not a typical chalk and talk method and students love something different and it sparks their curiosity hence they become more participative. My prediction on the usage of technology in language teaching and learning is that it will become an imperative tool that is needed in classroom. More useful applications will be created to tailor the students' need in terms of learning a new language that is more practical and engaging. It will become accessible to everyone and it will be included and made compulsory by the Ministry of Education. About Me Post 1/2 Hello there, welcome to my humble blog. I'm Yasmin Suraya, a part 8 student from the TESL program. I am just a regular girl from Ampang trying to ace my last semester and hoping I can graduate with ease. This is actually my first ever blog page so I am quite excited to start blogging. Better late than never I guess.  In terms of my computer skill, I would say I am computer savvy. I would rely on my computer skills to finish most of my assignments so I had to learn along the way.
